LTILTI, or Leadership Training Institute, is an international and our first convention every year. All of the leaders in Emtza (board members, convention chairpeople, and Emtza leaders) come together for a weekend of learning, meeting other leaders, and planning for the rest of the year.

KinnusKinnus is EMTZA's first regional convention of the year! We start it off by the president gaveling in not just the beginning of the convention but the new year. It's the time of reconnection after the summer and meeting people who are new to USY.

Winter ShabbatonWinter Shabbaton is our second regional convention. Winter Shabbaton is a weekend of fun social programming, teen-led learning, singing, and so much more. This is a weekend that's not to be missed.

Gesher ShabbatonGesher Shabbaton (formerly known as Kadima Kinnus) is our convention for 5th-8th graders throughout the region. It is often their first time at USY and EMTZA. So because of that the weekend is centered around learning traditions and meeting people.

Spring KallahSpring Kallah is one of the most important and bittersweat events for Emtza Region. At Spring Kallah, we elect and install our new regional executive board and thank our outgoing board. Before the new board is installed, the President gives a "State of the Region" speech and hands out the chapter awards . Sunday morning is graduation, when congratulate our outgoing class and say goodbye.
