Regional Executive Vice President How are yall? I’m Asher Finkelstein and I am very honored to be your 26’-27’ Executive VP. Right now I am a Junior at MIllard West HS in Omaha NE and I would say I am a very active member of BILU. This will be my second year on REB and my third year as BILU’s board as president. The reason why I stay connected to USY is because of all the friends I have made along the way even though it has only been 3 years. Outside of USY I would say I'm a busy person with school basketball taking up my winter and lacrosse taking up fall and spring. See yall later. |

Cassie BermanRegional Israel Affairs Vice PresidentHey EMTZA! My name is Cassie Berman, I’m a senior at Edina High School and I’m so excited to be you 2026-27 Israel Affairs Vice President. Since retuning from a semester abroad in Israel in the spring of 2025, my love for Israel has deepened in so many ways and I chose to run for IA to share this feeling with the rest of EMTZA through fun and engaging programming. I’m a very active BERUSY member, where I have perviously served as Mem/Kad, as well as many other aspects of the Jewish Community. I tutor b’nai mitzvah students on Shabbat mornings, participate in the Abraham Joshua Heschel Society and Jewish, and compete on Beth El’s Maimonides Moot Court. This year, I will also be a part of the StandWithUs Fellowship! I have spent nine summers at Camp Ramah in Wisconsin and this past summer was my first on staff. In my free time, I play ultimate frisbee and have earned two varsity letters in community service and I love hanging out with friends. I have made so many amazing memories in USY and I can't wait for what this year brings!

Marni RosenRegional Jewish Life Vice PresidentHi EMTZA! My name is Marni Rosen and I am so excited to be your 2026-2027 Jewish Life Vice President. I am currently a Junior at Ladue High School in St. Louis and an active member of BAUSY where I am currently the chapter president. Outside of USY I am very involved in my Jewish community by attending services weekly at B’nai Amoona, teaching at the Hebrew school, and leading minyan. I have also spent 2 years at Camp Ramah in Wisconsin and 6 years at Camp Sabra. I chose to run for Jewish Life Vice President because I want to do what ever I can to get teens to feel more connected to their Judaism. I love USY and I can’t to spend the year with all of you.

Aliza OlitzkyRegional Social Action/Tikun Olam Vice PresidentHi Emtza! My name is Aliza Olitzky, and I couldn’t be more excited to serve as your 2026–2027 SA/TO Vice President. I’m currently a junior at Edina High School in Minnesota and an active member of BERUSY, where I previously served as chapter SA/TO. Outside of USY, I’m involved in my Jewish community. I spend Saturday mornings tutoring students for their b’nai mitzvah at my synagogue, participate in the Abraham Joshua Heschel Society, and this will be my third year competing in Hadar’s Maimonides Moot Court Competition. I’ve also spent eight summers at Camp Ramah in Wisconsin. In my free time, I love volunteering, and I earned a varsity letter in community service last year. I also love spending time with friends and being by the lake when Minnesota weather allows it. I chose to run for SA/TO because I want to bring more energy and fun into social action, and change the world while having fun along the way. I love USY and its community, and I’m proud to play a role in continuing that. I’m so excited to spend the year with all of you!

HI Emtza! I am so excited to be your 2026-2027 Membership/Kadima Vice President. I am currently a sophomore at Olathe North High School in Kansas. I am also the co-president of KCUSY, where I previously served as the Mem/Kad. Outside of USY, I am involved in Olathe Youth Symphony, Olathe North Band and Pep Band, Olathe North Medical Society, and a Medical Professions academy at Olathe North. I also lead Shabbat morning services, read Torah, and I am part of the Yom Kippur Teen Choir at my synagogue. In my free time I love playing my trumpet and piano, I also love baking with my friends.I chose to run for your Membership/Kadima Vice President because I want to make sure that everyone has the chance to be involved with USY whether it is on the community level or the chapter level. I feel that there is a place for everyone in USY. I have made so many unforgettable memories with USY and I can’t wait to see what next year brings!

Regional Communications Vice PresidentHey EMTZA! My name is Samantha Cantor, and I am currently a junior at Johnston High School in Iowa. I am so excited to be serving as your Communications Vice President for the 2026–2027 year. Last year, I served on the DMUSY board as Communications, and it was an amazing experience where I was able to help grow my chapter. I am also excited to be continuing on the DMUSY board again this year. Through my time in USY, I’ve grown in my creativity and leadership, and I am so excited to bring that experience to EMTZA this year. I ran for Communications VP because I love using creativity to connect people and help build a stronger, more engaging community. I am also a madricha at my Hebrew school, I help in 2nd grade on Sundays and 6th grade on Wednesdays. At school, I am involved as a student ambassador, in student council, and in Silver Cord. I am also on my dance studio’s competition team, and I have been dancing for 12 years. I can’t wait for the year ahead and I’m so excited for everything EMTZA has in store.
